Okay, I DL'ed it, and the sound quality is 1000% better than TS. Now, the question is, how many people can chat on it at once? Be one of the first to find out! www.skype.com
Contact me on AIM to get my username...or chat amongst yourselves...whatever.

I thought that the version which will allow more than two people to talk wasn't out yet... Did we figure out a way to do that?
Cause that would rock.

It's not, but should be included in the next upgrade. In the meantime, individual phone calls are possible...
If you'd like to call me, for any reason (even just to see if it works!), just send me an e-mail and I'll send you my username. I usually check my e-mail once a day, late in the evening.

I can't. I have a CT scan in an hour. Hence not being allowed to eat or drink. And being up way too early.

Heh... I've been using skype for about a year now. It's awesome. Especially as I always have friends on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.

I have been using Skype for about a year now as well, I think....my parents tried to use it to stay in touch while seperates, from RI to AZ< but unless I was the one who began the chat it it was too choppy.
My mom had dial up in AZ< my dad had cable, and I was right in the middle with DSL...

I really like it, although it can be spotty at times. It is how my parents and I are going to stay in touch from across the country without spending money on phones or phone bills.
