I bet the butcher he couldn't reach the beef on the top shelf, but he said the steaks were too high.

Waddya think of those guernseys they roll patients around in? And those udderly ridiculous things they make them wear when they ride 'em?

Noemon, the topic's been ground down enough, you think? Rare is the person who can chew up something this tough so thoroughly.

Truth be told, though, it's a perfectly legitimate pun, so I expect that my last volly barely even grazed you, sndrake.

::groans:: That was bad, sndrake. You've done it now; she's going to attack us like she was storming the beach at Normande.

I thought Cow Pies were grass pies made for our friend the Cow?
If I made chocolate chip cookies in animal shapes, would the cow shape cookies be called "Cow Chip Cookies"

I might get flamed for this, but I suppose I should just bite the Bull et and post it.
In all seriousness, I've got some friends who raise beef cattle. They like to name the poor guys too. Last year we had a lot of meat from "Arby" and this year we've got something else, but I forget his name.

Many thanks to all who have posted hereford. I have just spent 2 days nursing a new calf through a rough delivery. He was presenting upside-down and is so big he had to be ratcheted out of his dam by the vet. This morning he finally learned to suck. I am sore and bruised all over. And his mother butted me in the head before I was convinced to separate them. She was punting him all over the place and beating him against a gate. Stupid mother. Anyway, we are all in prime condition this morning.
