I don't have any stories to compare to these (of course).

I'm afraid I can't do much to help those of you who have already been cut recently--that's what we have the Hatrack doctors for. But I can give you some candles to place on a high shelf to ward off future injuries.

I just lopped off the top of my middle finger and ripped 3/4 of my nail off *pouts*

This sucks.

I think my mom might have agreed with you after that accident CT!

I'm not completely sure that I understand your question, CT, but if I do, then the answer is that all of those characters are typed using one's middle fingers; since Jaiden didn't say which middle finger she hurt, I had to include all of them rather than just one hand's worth.
