I do! I don't waste hours on it, but I try to post pretty regularly. It shows my friends back home what I'm doing.

I've got one, and I use it all the time. I love seeing what my friends are doing with their days, especially since we're all so spread out now.

I've got one. It's really helpful when you're trying to keep abreast of what's going on in your friends' lives - especially if they're in a different state. It also lets me blow off some steam, once and a while. Posts: 753 | Registered: Mar 2001

I have an LJ. I do not post in it nearly as much as I used to. Which is a shame, because it feels like my life was particularly good when I was posting a lot. Could be coincedence, but I kinda feel like maybe writing in the LJ helped me to process things and get through life. Need to start writing again.

xnera, you certainly should start writing more.
And so should Lissande.
I, however, write all the stinkin' time and should probably take an LJ vacation. I started on LJ to keep up with college friends and it's been wonderful. I still get to see what people are up to even when we're not as good about visiting or calling as we used to be. But seeing what happens day-to-day, we have more to talk about when we can talk. And the comments feature is infinitely convenient for we, the terminally lazy. ^_~

I've got a livejournal, but just so I can have a name when I leave comments in my friends'. Name's the same.

Whenever I start writing about what I'm doing or thinking, I stop doing or thinking and suddenly have nothing to write about. I don't think I will ever be able to keep a journal of any kind. Posts: 1041 | Registered: Feb 2002

So, does someone want to explain it to me? I had never heard of it until I met you guys, namely Annie. Now it seems like it's something I'm missing out on. How does it work and what's the point?

I mainly keep my journal online because there is less chance of my mom reading it there. does that make me paranoid? Cus I'm not, if I left a journal in my room I would trust my mom completely not to read it... suuure... not like I have anything to hide...

I've got one, but like a lot of others, I post so infrequently it doesn't make much sense. Though around times of new and/or awesome movies my update rate goes up a lot. Or just my quarterly update. Feel free to read and comment if you ever see a new post.

Ok, since none of YOU would explain it to me, I went and fiddled around myself. We'll see if I can keep it up. My username is narniadear.

My friend made one for me as a forced-upon-me Christmas present, complete with a large picture of Gary Oldman in his "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" role. It presently has a grand total of one post, and she accused me of being cynical. That reminds me, I need to change that picture...

I actually do. Got xanga intead of LJ because I knew more people with it. I thought it was stupid at first, but its just as addicting as hatrack, haha.

I just realized we had a hatrack community. I've been doing it a month or so, but my usual computer illiteracy is still intact so I can't do much with it besides post.

Doesn't the jatraquero group membership put everyone on my friends list and me on everyones? If not, what's the point of it?

I have one. I spend far too much time on it. However, I have a great reason for it. I've been bought 8 months of a paid account. Wouldn't it be rude to my benefactor to not use it? :-)
I'm v. fannish and silly on it, but I'm thedorkygirl. :-)
