Here's what I've got so far...

dirty scholar bound
devour favorite pariah
ebb
but say love
I chase after salient delight

galling usuper
languishing miscreant
my gild'd tongue
chains your ear

as the tail
so the wag

My dog wrote this one:

Good caterwaul
eschew squirrel
secrete beauty
self taut

I'm not altogether sure she knows the meanings of most of those words. I think she just likes the sounds.

If you don't have magnetic poetry for your fridge, you can still play along. I mean, how would we ever know. But I find that the restrictions placed on the artist by working with a pre-selected "palette" of words actually heightens the creative exercise. So, I do recommend going out and getting your own magnetic poetry set.

Ohh, we love magnetic poetry! I'd share our little bits of magnetic genius, but I think I'll keep this thread nice and PG. [Smile]

Here's one I did using this set:

dogboy

hair never hidden
all dirt and cheap dreaming
curved down and fast to light
the base the building—

girl-arrayed, architectured feet
small and moist, apple-green.

i tempt death, aye
but ne'er a drunk man

I forsake love and
I'll taunt yonder peasant girl
with my new codpiece.

I'm a big fan of the Shakespeare version. [Smile]

there is a beautiful morning between us

once upon a midnight dreary'
while i pondered weak and weary
over many a quaint and curious colume of forgotten lore

while i nodded, nearly napping
suddenly there came a tapping
as of someone gently rapping
rapping
like eminem

he had a nice rythm and he had all the moves
but nonetheless as i heard him i started to snooze

becuase i didn't take my nap that day
so i was very tired

refridgerator raider

is what i used to call darth vader

everytime he got hungry

he would raid the fridge and write a poem

and this is one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
