Okay, It's Thursday morning. I was online Tuesday morning right before I left. I made it for two whole days. I may even manage to get hooked up here if I change hotels. I knitted a whole bunch on Anna's sweater, wrote a 3 page email offline on my laptop, and read part of two books. It's been two days and I only have to go probably 21 days altogether so that's almost 10%. I think I can do this.

I sure do miss you guys. Don't do anything fun or interesting until I get back. Best place to write me email at the moment is akard@reverecontrol.com. I managed to log in to check my work email, but still haven't figured out how to connect to my home email yet. [Smile] <Please don't laugh, ye computer proficient ones.> [ROFL]

Take care, all, and I will see you soon I hope.

Anne Kate, try out http://www.mail2web.com/ I have found extremely few circumstances when it doesn't work.

Hey, thanks Zev! I am talking to their tech support now. They apparently have web based mail but it keeps kicking me out saying my session has timed out before I even get a chance to read my mail. [Smile] Anyway, I may get connected here soon. Yay!

Okay, yay, I'm online in my hotel room now! I went ahead and justified spending $120 for the whole month of access (charging it to my customer, of course) by the rationale that it's much much cheaper for them that way than paying $10 a day for 20 days or so. <grins> I still am having difficulties with my regular mail server, and don't yet know if I can get aim up and running, but that will be next.
