my band is playing for a high school dance coming up in about a month. We've never done something like this before so i was wondering if you all could give suggestions of good songs for dancing to or maybe your favorite dance-type song or any other suggestions

p.s. we are a pop-rockish type band mostly lead by guitars though i can play piano....

People will either dance to ballads or beats. A lot of popular pop/rock songs sound great melodically and on guitar, but people will most enjoy dancing to the ones with strong, steady drum beats.
