Eruve, when the thread is only one page, it doesn't show that. The point of the thread was killed when it went to page 2.

I mean, how, using the search function, did he find a thread without a topic/title or a discernable word that would find this topic?

...and that's a very good question. I tried searching for the title (­) and it brings it up but I can't click on it.

I bookmarked page two in my browser back when this thread first appeared, and I wanted to figure out how it was done.

Just now I tried a search using a keyword that appears in this thread. You get search results, but nothing you can click on (unless you're using the Safari browser, I guess).

HRE, that's what I figured from viewing the page source. Did you have to try a bunch of special chars before you found one that UBB wouldn't display on your browser? There's over 128 special chars, yet you seem to have come up with the only one that works.
