I have this pet peeve with IE.

I hate when I am typing in a URL and the sites that you have visited with the same or similar URL pop up below the Address line. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? It always seems to stop my typing in its track.

Note: I am not talking about the 'history' pull down bar that can be cleared under Internet options.

Go to tools > internet options > content

and reconfigure auto complete.

"Reconfigure the Auto Complete" sounds like a great name for a song.
