This is a possibly landmark fodder. fallow wanted some prodding. [Smile] I wrote:

quote:
Kay fallow: Here's some writing fodder.

Prompt: What do you like/love about your life right this minute? Please explain why you like/love these things and any important details you'd like to include about how you acquired these things that you like/love about your life.

That should get you started. Thanks for letting me write a prompt.

fallow answered:

quote:
Narnia,

I love the freedom I have right now to continue an unfettered exploration of life, love, the world, and meaning. At the same time, I envy those things that would obliterate that freedom and the hard-won observations and experiences I've gained from it.

does that make any sense?

fallow

So, to continue here in his very own landmark thread:

Yeah fallow. That makes sense. But I want you to explain and be specific if you feel comfortable doing that.

If not, here's another question: When you meet people that you like and respect, what is it about yourself that you wish they could know without you having to explain?

Here's one:

If someone is clever enough to impress you, wouldn't they also be clever enough to avoid you?

Ah. So you're actually looking for people who fall into a very narrow range of cleverness, then.

I had a really good week, thanks for asking.

You can't hit "chat" up there? Do you have virtual PC? I'll do it for you.

oh, hey fallow! I was waiting for you to write soul-bearing answers to our deep questions. [Smile]

Ok, here's another question:

What's your idea of a dream vacation?

1- What does "fallow" mean to you?
2- Why are you up so late?
3- What is your favorite form of media?

I can't speak for Fallow, but here's my answer to number 2:

Ordered the Singapore Street Noodles at PF Chang's. Delicious, but dynamic.

Soo... *eyes post count* I didn't see the original thread, but evidently this was a follow-up to your landmark offer to answer a thought- provoking question?

Do you like rocks?

Hmm. So you like rocks, and sand -- micro-rocks. How do you feel about beaches? Oceans in general? How about water, in all its many forms?

Feel free to expound at length.

rivka,

water?

water ebbs and flows, tows at our toesies,
soaks the sand, inviting us to stand
and
splash in the incoming tide.

Here are a few more questions for you even though I was so rudely snubbed a few posts earlier...

Should I rename this thread as your landmark?

Why do you and I always seem to be online at the same time?? Are you stalking me? [Wink]

Narnia,

snub?

You fell down on the job. Come back and ask me a real question when you're able.

[ROFL] You're already taken Bob!

(joke - poor taste maybe, but a joke)

What's your favorite color?

Do you wear ties willingly?

Will you ever again expound on anything at a length greater than than approximately one inch of typed material?

What brought you to this place? Better yet - what brought you back?

IS it true that you and Beren are brothers? [Razz]
