I know I'm not around much these days. I started this topic a couple weeks ago and felt it would be good to pass on this little story:

Anyway, the debate is pretty academic. Barring inorganic-oil theories, either oil will peak in 2005 or in 2015 or 2045 -- nobody knows for sure, and the necessary reaction to take is the same in each case. We just need to be sure we have competent leaders as often as possible to maximize the chance they'll be in place when we need them.
