Many times in life, I have invented these dumb little safety rhymes that have various meanings like:

When in doubt, let the clutch out. .

This one refers to motorheads on motorcycles and other related motorsports. Generally, it comes in handy.

Today I noticed myself saying:

When in doubt, zero it out.

This is a bit hard do explain, but it involves the use of these Symbol hand-held data entry units we use to manage our inventory. (Scan barcode on bottle. Change on-hand quantity. Finalize. Repeat. ZZZZzzzz)

I was wondering if anyone else had some fun safety rhymes like: (To prevent highway shootings)

Don't shoot that guy!!! Let's have some pie!

OR

When in doubt, (insert conclusion here).

When in doubt, take it out.

That one's about small animals in the roadway.

[ROFL]

This is sad but true. I once hit two chipmunks in one 10 mile commute to work.

When in doubt, shake it all about (For any confusion during the Hokey Pokey).

When in doubt, pan-fry the trout
(for when you don't know how to prepare dinner)

When in doubt - throw it out.

Applies equally well when encountering leftovers of unknown origin in the fridge and when sorting through excess stuff in one's life.

When you have a doubt, there is no doubt.

That's the first thing they teach you.

Geez that is a really good one that I also say from time to time and I had forgotten... Thanks!

Red in the morning, sailors' warning.
Red at night, sailors' delight.

I just made that up. Really. [Razz]

I don't know why, but if I'm far from a restroom and I really have to go, this little chant helps"

"I've got to pee, I've got to P I E!"

Don't ask me why I spell pee P I E when I really have to go. I just do.
