New Video.

This one appears to be from an American Muslim Al Qaida member.

It's their way of "trying to sway the election".

EDIT: Kudos to Drudge for keeping the networks honest.

Why is sway the election in quotes? Does that appear on the tape, or is that based on analysis of the contents of the tape?

quote:
According to the source, the man says, "The streets will run with blood" and says the United States has brought this on itself for electing a president who has declared war on Islam by attacking the former Taliban rulers in Afghanistan (news - web sites) and waging war against al Qaeda.

Hm. Chad, are you congratulating Drudge for "breaking" this story before the tape is authenticated?

How did you feel about those Bush service memos, again?

Yeah, I think it's great that he gives us a "preview" of what we should be seeing with the news organizations from his inside sources.

I don't believe it's an "Al Qaida" tape yet, but it does inform me of what to watch for on the news tonight.

EDIT: Those memos that were forged with will never be authenticated as anything but forgeries.

Of course, it's not "news" anymore because it hurts the News Media and the DNC for quoting from them the next morning as fact.

Or... it's also possible that this is a real warning for the real attempt to sway the election - an attack.

The notion that Al Qaeda has been planning an elaborate and massive attack fits with the long time frame since their last attack, and their general strategy of pursuing a few massive attacks rather than many small attacks. The election would be a time to do it.

Three possibilities:

1) It's a legitimate tape warning of a legitimate attack.
2) It's a legitimate tape warning of a fake attack in order to influence the election.
3) It's an illegitimate tape warning of a fake attack in order to influence the election (i.e. a particularly sleazy October Surprise.)

4) AlQaeda is campaigning for it strongest supporter, GeorgeWBush.

As is usual for you, aspectre -- that is a little below-the-belt, as far as I'm concerned.

And factually incorrect since Al Qaida prefers Kerry in the Oval Office over Bush according to a recent Al Jazeera poll (this is a joke btw)

So why did Dubya provide AlQaeda with bombs and guns to kill American troops?

But if this is an authentic video, how will it infuence the elections? If its true, would it cause you to change your vote? I think that there are as many Americans who would see this as a reason to vote for Bush as there are who would see this as a reason to vote for Kerry.

That couldn't have been Dubya - that was before Clinton took office.
