In honor of my Advair dosage being upped from 250/50 to 500/50 today, I thought I'd give a shout-out to all my asthma-sufferin' peeps on this message board. Y'all keep on frontin' for me. Holla!!!
Additionally, I am now beating Dana in Advair consumption. WOOP WOOP! (and yes, I do keep track of what dosages the people around me are using, if they're using Advair... >_>)
(Also, my doctor's an OSC fan. ^_^V)

I have asthma, but only as an allergic reaction to sawdust, and not since moving to Sri Lanka. And I've only ever been on that puffer thingy.
Still, having had severe enough ashtma attacks to make me a. freak out and b. wind up in a hospital, I sure do have a whole heck of a lot of sympathy for you, even if only from very very limited experiences.

My Asthma has all but gone away since I moved to San Jose and out of Santa Cruz Mountains. Smog hardly bothers me but all that nature about killed me =( Trees are beautiful to look at but toxic to me. (Of course, NW Arkansas was even worse when I was growing up...)
Now I get maybe 1 attack per year and even then it's mild. Unfortunately when I do have a problem my inhalor is invariably flat, but I'll take that over more attacks.

We're like a crappy brotherhood. I just vacuumed and I'm a little wheezy. I get three (count 'em- THREE) shots a month for my allergies.

I don't know yet if I officially have asthma, but I walked away from the doctor the other day with two inhalers, Allegra-D, and Zithromax for an ear infection I didn't realize I had. Life is peachy.

I don't have asthma, but I do have allergies that are unaffected by medication and leave me with the equivalent of a mild year round cold. Although sometimes, my allergies flare up and I get post nasal drip which leads to horrible coughing.
