I just posted this as an FYI. I'm planning to drive in on a Sunday night to finally get to see him. Any other MA hatrackers should try to come!!
I hope there's a Q & A session. If you were there, what would YOU ask him? I don't know if the moderator's will allow discussion of topics other than the middle east, but I hope so!
(let me know if you're not local and I'll try to help with directions and parking)

Actually, I'm surprised we don't tape OSC speeches and book signings more often. We can set up torrents and stuff.

But I was just thinking. Those of us here on Hatrack pretty much known OSC and his views and his background on history, etc. through his web presence.
However, I was wondering how this appears to outsiders who have never heard of OSC -- do they think, "Okay, they are bringing in a Science Fiction author to talk to us about the political climate of Israel and the Middle East?""""

If it were earlier on Sunday, I'd take the 4-hour ride up to Boston. Looks well worth the trip! Unfortunately Monday morning I gotta be at work and on top of my game.
GradStudent, you're a grad at MIT? I'm c/o '96.
