Audible.com is a reputable site, I believe it's owned by amazon. It's completely on the up and up. I'm a big fan of the site because the audio is so cheap! So, yes, Card would get money from your purchase.

I got the Audible audiobook of Shadow Puppets from the library (on a loaned MP3 player, no less) and I absolutely loved it. I especially liked the woman who did Petra's voice. I would love to get ahold of all of OSC's work on MP3, especially if this same crew does it. Audible is still too rich for my blood, so I keep an eye out everytime I go to the library. I feel bad about getting it for free (sorry, the Cards), but I still buy all the books in hardcover!

Thanks Kacard for clearing up any worries i had. the only reason i came across the site was i was looking for Enders game on CD. thinking i could convert it to an MP3 and put it all on one CD and i wont have to stop my work to change CDs. I work at Target stocking shelfs overnight. they get a little upset when you stop working and waste time changing a cd. now that i know the site is leget. i'll download all the unabriged audio books.

Unabridged is the only way to go. I have listened to some abridged audio books (the Amber series, Children of the Mind, Enchantment come to mind), and it ticked me off so much that I decided never again.
