In my personal case, Zithromax is *too* effective or something. I now refuse to take it except as a last resort and will request amoxicillin first. I don't care if there are more pills. You see Zithromax does *something* that throws my Urinary Tract bacteria out of whack. Within 3-4 days of being on Zithromax I will be heading back to the doctor for Macrobid which knocks UTIs. After this happened to me four times, I refuse to think it is a fluke. At first I was all for it, but after having only one positive experience (the first time it was prescribed) and UTI's thereafter, I'm not subjecting myself to that again!

She doesn't take the medication any better, although we got cherry, sadly, not strawberry banana, *laugh* but the combination of a smaller dosage with fewer days and only once per day is a big relief.
I'm so impressed jeniwren! I'm glad she is now taking her medicine!
