Just finished watching the movie. Has anyone else seen it? Too many close-ups of burning books for me to truly enjoy it. I would have started crying if Ender's Game was in there... and you saw the cover all curling up and becoming black an dthe flames creeping up and...

And the scene where the firemen are flying around is quite fake. Quite.

Good movie, though.

I just finished re-reading the book yesterday, and I am eagerly anticipating the new version of the movie set to come out in the foreseeable future.

my copy of the book is an old publication that came out when the film was first released...but the picture on the cover is all I've seen of the film...

on a different note...I'm severely bothered by how so many bookstores here carry Farenheit 451, but none of them carry Martian Chronicles...and I happen to like Martian Chronicles way more and find that it is much better written...

I read Fahrenheit 451 a couple years ago. I liked it, but I couldn't help thinking that the way it was written was a little too bizarre for my tastes. I've never re-read it either.
