You're thebestsophist on Metafilter. Your signature gave you away (go figure).

I'm [expletive deleted].

On another note, hi everyone! I'm a pennyless ski bum in Whistler now, so I don't post or visit as often as I used to. Not that have been very active for the last few years, but it's still good to touch base.

Hi Mack.

I'm not really that lucky. My equipment is in a horrible state of disrepair, I don't have the money to get new stuff, and worst of all, so far Whistler is having the worst season in its history.

The Sierras are getting massive dumps. I hear Utah is getting lots too.

And I'm not exaggerating about the conditions. Just utterly terrible.

Well, I didn't know that Bernard, as I haven't been really visiting lately. I was just delighted to have run into someone I knew on MeFi.

Oh, I linked you, BTW.

Whistler isn't getting much snow? I'm in Abbotsford and am watching the snow coming down in insane amounts for this time of year

:: laughs :: I just joined a few days ago. Saying that you're complaining about the lack of snow, I'm guessing the wet weather we've been having in Washington isn't make it up to you. and yes, tis nice to know another mefi-er.

Hey, Chaeron! [Smile]

(FYI to the n00b chicks: Chaeron is the supreme hottie that posts extraordinary pics at foobonic. Sometimes he even flashes skin. Well worth a gander.)

Not that I only love you for your body, or anything, kiddo. But when you post so infrequently on the 'rack, one has to make due with what one has. Though I'm glad things are okay, if regrettably snowless.

Today, it poured rain to near the top of the mountains. Tomorrow the freezing level will climb. This sucks.
