(via snopes.com) Go to http://mappoint.msn.com/DirectionsFind.aspx Choose Country: Norway Enter Haugesund as the start city, and Trondheim as the end city. Get directions. For the record, the program reverts to euclidean when asked the reverse directions. This still works as of this post.

Hehe. There was a time, I might even have been alive then, when that route probably would be the fastest. It takes times to build roads through those mountains.
