I need to find a DYE FREE decongestant for a 37 lb, 6 year old child. The only dye-free one I have found is Little Remedies but none of them have dosing info for kids 6 and over. Any help?

I'd use dimensional analysis. Take the weight to fluid ratio for all of the avalable data and see if it is constant. When using weight ranges take the lowest number so you are safe. Like say 1 tsp for 20-25 lbs. and 1 1/2 tsp for 30-35lbs. Your ratio then is 1/2 tsp for every 10lbs. Now doseages can vary in non-linear fashion, so if the ratio doesn't stay close to a constant number it won't work. But it often does.

Try plenty of water, a humidifier, and maybe even one of those bulb things that suck the snot out. None of those have any dyes, and they'll probably work about as well for a six year old as pseudoephedrine.
