He's actually even taller than he looks in that pic, or I'm shorter. I was wearing heels.

The dress isn't actually purple. It has a hot pink layer underneath, and a sheer blue on top, so the overall affect is a shimmery purple. [Big Grin]

No, seriously, my jaw literally dropped. Sometimes you mean that just figuratively, as a sort of "wow" statement, but my jaw actually physically went down about two inches. [Eek!]

You look great! And I adore that dress, especially from the back!

That and the height differences just made me smile as they look rather familiar - I'm 5'2" and my boyfriend is 6'2" so all of our photos are rather staggered as well =).

Yes, the dress is a halter. (I actually tied it a little too tight, and I had a chafe mark on my neck for a few days.)
