There is a thread over there like this for Hatrack, since it's down all the time. So, I thought I'd start this one here.

It was down. Apparently the database service crashed and needed to be restarted. This happens quite frequently--sometimes multiple times a day--and will continue to be a problem until I switch hosts. As I mentioned on Sakeriver, I'll be switching hosts either when my prepay with Hostony runs out (in August) or when I finish rewriting my content management software, whichever comes first.

Actually, I believe I have mentioned it a time or two over there: Hostony. Avoid them. They suck.

Looks like your email is correct in your profile. I would imagine that what happened is that the activation email went into your spam folder or something like that. Anyway, I went ahead and activated your account.

Sorry, I should have made a bigger announcement.

It's mainly so I don't get emails into my personal email account, there are a few other reasons though, that will be revealed in time.
