Really? My aunts have never mentioned anything like this in Zichron or Ra'anana. [Dont Know]

Well, I might have exaggerated a bit...But it's quite common that little boys light "napatzim" sometimes, not only in special occasions. They usually grow out of it, but I know two 17 year-olds who still marvel "the Big Boom".
