So I just saw it. While I liked it, I don't understand the infatuation with it, that several people I know have.
Is it because boys just have things for hot anime chicks and suits of power armor? Because I couldn't get past the plot holes. Now I know it's based on manga, and maybe that would help. But several friends of mine who *don't* read the manga still loved Appleseed far more than I.

Boys do have a thing for hot anime chicks in power armor.
Although on careful introspection, I now realize the power armor isn't really necessary. We also have a thing for hot anime chicks. When coupled with the frequently-held infatuation with cool armor and robotics, that equals Stuff We Like.
