Does anyone remember this geography quiz. It's been a while since it was last here and we've got tons of new people, so I felt like I'd post it again.

http://www.lizardpoint.com/fun/geoquiz/

My score for Europe: 81/111

(I have trouble with the East European countries! [Blushing] )

Africa: 73/162 (Oh dear goodness! I'm a failiure at Africa and last time I memorized the whole thing, sigh)
Asia: 68/87 (much better at Asia)
Australia: 20/24 (This one I put down to my sloppiness, it's really easy to get this all right if you think)
South America: 22/39 (No excuse, really, I even had a bit of trouble finding Argentina!)
United States: 77/150 (I passed! [Wink] )
Canada: 39/39 [Smile] No excuses if I hadn't!
Middle East: 73/87 (if you're in the news a lot...)
China: 27/93 (considering I went in knowing NOTHING, I think I did well! [Wink] )
Oceania: 43/96 O.o
Central America: 21/42 *sniff*
World: 33/33 (woo!)

In short: I need to study A LOT!

I got an 83. Every single one I got wrong were the eastern european countries, and mostly the baltic ones. Its not my fault though, as a kid those were all labeled "U.S.S.R." in my text books.

86/111

I kind of kicked myself on a few. Being a German student, I know all the bordering countries... but I got a few of them mixed up (Belgium/The Netherlands and Austria/Switzerland). I've actually studied some of the craziness down by Macedonia and those countries, but I guess I'm still not sure which one's which [Smile]

Edit: 78/87 on Middle East - I didn't think my knowledge on anywhere but Europe was worth reporting, but I guess my Intro to Black Culture class paid off!

When I was younger, the shower curtain one of the bathrooms was a huge world map. [Big Grin]

We use new maps (read: postUSSR) in school. It's always easier if you look at the blank map and try to name all of them first, and then answer the questions.

Europe: 109/111
Africa: 128/162
Asia: 80/87
Austrailia: 20/24 A lot of these were just made sense...
Canada: 31/39
Carribean: 38/68
Central America: 39/42
China: 21/93 Mostly guessing. Inner Mongolia and Tibet were easy. Hainan was that little island...
Middle East: 85/87
Oceania: 54/96
South America: 37/39
USA: 149/150 !@#$ Vermont and New Hampshire...
World: 33/33

I got 145 on the US and I know I was hitting the right ones, but I guess I wasn't lining the cursors up correctly. Grr....those tiny New England states are hard to click!

Got 100% on the world. That one was easy.

haven't done the others, I'm sure I would fail miserably

Europe: 109/111
I probably could've gotten a perfect score if I'd thought about it for a few more seconds.

Asia: 83/87
I swear I clicked on Kazakhstan, but it told me, "No, that's Russia." They need to make the maps a little bigger.

South America: 36/39
Stupid Uruguay and Paraguay! And those three little ones on the north coast, too.

I'll do the rest later.

Australia: 23/24
D'oh! I should've gotten New South Wales.

Africa: 140/162
Boo-yah!

Middle East: 85/87

USA: 150/150 Gotta start with the easy ones

Africa: 157/162 Blasted Congo countries!

Asia: 87/87 Good thing I memorized all the stan's a few years back

Australia: 22/24 I should know that!

Canada: 35/39 I have always been bad at Canada

I can't even try the Carribean, I have never known those and always look foolish trying to answer them! Caribbean: 40/66

Central America: 41/42 Restore my confidence!

China: Good Grief! I am in trouble here. 37/93 and that was lucky

Europe: 104/111 Back on solid ground

Middle East: 83/87 If anyone STILL can't find Iraq, I'm afraid there's little we can do for you.

I think I did poorly enough on the other islands map to safely skip Oceania and write it off as a part of the world I don't know.

South America: 39/39 Finally one to be sure about.

World: 33/33
