Dan, surely the pun wasn't your sole reason for posting!

It was; I was completely reeled in by it. In fact, your punning has been superior trout this short thread.

I was going to post a clever reply to this thread, but found it too deep to fathom.

Personally, I'm perched on my seat, waiting for Dan's next whopper of a pun.

Can't think of a fish pun. I am up a creek without a paddle. I'm sunk.

This is not a matter for levity. If the fish are depleted, then the poor fishermen will be scrod.

I wonder how the net worth of fishermen will decrease as the cod population dwindles.

Humuhumunukunuku Apua'a Alright, I came in too late in the game to think up a fresh pun. But on the topic of fish, try to say the name of the State Fish of Hawaii above. Then say it five times fast. I've lived here for two years and still can't remember it!

Maybe it would be easier to sing it, like a tuna.

Bah, I've never been able to hold a tuna. They just slip right through my hands. If I'm gonna hang on to one, I have to perch it on a pike. That or a swordfish. And I'm really not sure how you'd tuna fish. I think you'd need a really shark implement. Then I'd expect you'd open up it's gut and mess with its innards a bit. Then you could try a scale or two and see if it's right. If it isn't you'll probably have to debone it.
