Russia and China hold unprecedented joint military exercises

Any foreign affairs experts in the house? (or just conspiracy theorists?)

Iceland is the key country, the little one just north of the UK(?), thats where my great stands always came - there and Brazil.

You know, this statement reminds me of the portion of Red Storm Rising where Iceland becomes a strategic position because of its proximity to Northern/Western Europe and the North Atlantic...
