At night(much like tonight) i want to sleep very much so. Ill say to myself "Go to bed early, one cause your obviously tired, and two school peeking its eye once again." I'll get in bed and just lay there, sometimes for an hour or two before i get up and try to find a more confortable spot in my house. I even think im starting to get sick from my sleeping habits, my head is killing me and i feeling very sick. It's not like im a rebelious teen and i'm trying to stay up all night, quite the contarary. If anyone has advice it'd be greatly apreciated. -DP

Get thee to a sleep specialist now. Don't walk, but run. Yeah, it's entirely possible you have a sleeping disorder, and if left untreated, they can wreak havoc on your life and, depending on what you have, could cause serious health problems.

Try this advice, posted by another member on a different thread:

I have people who want to kill me, I have 14 hour days in 115 degree heat and at the end of it my clothes are so full of salt they stand in the corner without me in them. I smile alot and laugh alot and I sleep like a vampire on a sunny day.
Run as far as you can run, walk, and get tired then you will sleep.

I heard once that if you spend too much time in your room or in your bed that it can be hard to go to sleep. I had that problem when I was little. I'd spend half the day in there and then when it came time to go to sleep, my body wouldn't see my bed as someplace I do that so I couldn't.

I don't see how this will help sleeping. I mean, since I've been married, I've actually slept worse because if one of us can't sleep, both of us can't sleep.
Not that I'm knocking marriage. I'm just not seeing it as a surefire solution to a sleep disorder.

Was Spontanios the ancient Greek god of procreation?
Try this:
Edit: Added so I'm not a total jerk. You should see a doctor, though, or at least try a different sleeping routine. I know that before I moved out on my own, my bed was where I spent a lot of time, studying, reading, and anything else. It was hard to sleep. After I moved, I didn't use my bed nearly as much, so I found it much easier to sleep there.
Edit: Again because I left out a crucial word.

I think i found my problem, i think that i think too much at night before i go to bed. I carry all the trouble and thoughts from the day into bed and just can't stop thinking over and about them.
