Oh, I dunno. I think it's rather clever, really. He's taken it up one level. Now instead of wanting the last post, people will be vying to start the last last post thread thread. I can see it now, the whole first five pages being last last post thread threads.
What would be tne next level after that? Trying for the last last last post thread thread forum? That may take a software modification for ubb, but it would be so worth it! Then it should totally be recursive and allow infinite levels of last last last post thread forums. This is reminiscent of Zeno's paradox that shows that motion unexists, or of Lewis Carroll's logical paradox that shows that logic unexists.
I think the logical conclusion of the entire last post hierarchy would be that posting unexists. Then we'd all pop into a black hole and it would be the end of everything, or maybe we would all have acheieved the state of satori or nirvana or enlightenment or something.

It's 1:30 in the morning, I'm awaiting an apocalypse, I'm annoyed that you, Tante, will beat my Post Count before month's end, and I am expecting three e-mails, none of which seem to come. (Not from you, Tantalach... Yours actually came in.)
