I think it's one of the better sci-fi comedies in recent memory, up there with Galaxy Quest.

Both of these movies are completely hilarious. And I just realized that they were both dvds my old roommate had and I don't. Curses!

Is it really true? Duchovny managed to be in a good movie? I had been avoiding that one because he always seemed to pick really bad movies. Except for Kalifornia. I remember liking that one, although it has been probably ten years since I watched it last.

Yes, but he's completely upstaged by Orlando Jones, IMO. Duchovny's good in Evolution, but Jones is much funnier.

I didn't like Evolution that much. It certainly didn't approach the sheer brilliance of Galaxy Quest!
