Our betta, Scalia, has the worst-ever case of fungus and ich. Despite our best efforts, Scalia the Betta is at the bottom of the tank and I fear he will not last the night.
He's a good fish, and we have only had him with us for a week. Please keep our fish in your thoughts.

THat would be me. bunbun wanted to name him after an architect, but I thought Scalia was better for a betta.

Good news! The fungus on Scalia's tail definitely looks less fluffy today. Also, he appears to be swishing around a bit more.
My preference was to name him Milton Griggs, but after getting to know him, I think Scalia is a much more appropriate moniker.

I am glad. I would have hate to have seen the fish President Bush would have nominated to replace your Scalia. And then those awful Congressional confirmation circus. Yes, you have been saved a lot of trouble.
Does your Scalia want to overturn Roe or leave them laying where they are?
That would be a Roe V Wade--er--Swim

Our Scalia eats roe for breakfast. When frightened, he makes a real show of his fins, trying to puff himself up and look big. He's pretty casey; if there was another fish in there I think it might get griswold.

Dan, your use of uppercase letters is potentially problematic. Good thing Scalia favors capital punishment.

Once he's finished working on rehabing his slimy little penumbra, Scalia will be right as rain. It's what betas like to do. I'm so glad he pulled through!
