I know a lot of people here use FrontPage or Dreamweaver. I just found out about Nvu. It is free.

*wonders if anyone has used it*

This looks good for very very novice coders. Built on Mozilla's Composer code base, which means you could just use Composer instead. FrontPage is far more robust and of course Dreamweaver is even more so.

We have Dreamweaver, which we both really like. I used to use FrontPage until I had fits working with it - I know hate it with a load of passion. Well, to be fair, I didn't like it much when I used it, but anyway...

I haven't used NVU, but I know some people who are looking for a good free web designing program, so I'll definitely point them in this directions.

Thanks for letting me know. [Smile]

Never heard of it, but free almost always rings as 'worth it' in my ears for software.

I'll give it a go. I'm comfy with using notepad with HTML and CSS, but we'll see how this does. If I like it enough, I might pass it on to some other newer people to web development.

Please let us know what you think of it. It would be useful to hear from an actual user.
