My friend and I are setting up a geek-off for tomorrow. One of the categories I am to write questions for is "Quotes": simply, to provide quotes of a geeky origin (Sci-Fi books, Firefly, obscure philosophers or somesuch, even poetry, etc, etc), for which the asked must provide a source. I've got a few--a lot of River from Firefly, actually--but I'm wondering what Jatraqueros think is essential.

And, uh, in my misguided undergrad years, I did College Bowl for all of a semester before the over-geekiness drove me away. One of the questions was simply the lyrics from "Karma Police" read in a monotone. No one recognized it for a very long time.

...and pretty much anything from The Princess Bride, Star Wars 1-6(but mostly 4-6), the Monty Python movies and Babylon 5. Nerds/geeks love Bablyon 5. Ooh, don't forget all the comics related quotes from the Hulk, Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Wolverine, etc. (no Marvel bias at all, nope).
