So in real life you are...?

I've taken that before ... but this time I was 100% Mormon. And 97% Mainline Conservative Christian/Protestant. Hmm. I really thought those were two very different things.

Actually I'm really high in almost every Christian religion, and even over 50% in Islam, Sikhism and Hinduism. And I'm 80% Orthodox Judaism. I guess I'm just generally very religious. Who knew? [Wink]

But I wasn't that Mormon before. Wonder what's changed?

100% secular humanism. Really, though, the most appropriate one was my 74% "non-theist."

Funny. I'm only 37% Catholic which is what I am. I am mostly Liberal Quaker.

Hmmm. Liberal Quaker doesn't sound very Catholic. [Smile]

I'm 100% Unitarian Universalism, yet in reality, by... blood, I'm Jewish. (And I'm good with money [Wink] )

But really, I don't apply for it in almost any way, but go for science, and technology, and evolution. It makes more sense to me.

I'll take number 3. Don't know why numbers 1 and 2 are where they are. Four, five, and six are right out.

Interesting. I've been looking a lot lately into becoming a Quaker or a UU-er. Actually, what interests me more is that I took this same test less than a year ago and my top three were Liberal Judaism, Orthodox Judaism, Roman Catholicism, and Liberal Protestantism in that order (now their respective rankings are 3, 9, 27, and 5).

I'm curious to know what secular humanism connotes to you, if you consider yourself non-theist, but secular humanism is "right out."

From previous experience with this test, weighting the questions helps a lot.

Indeed Rivka,

My first go-through, I ended up as Orthadox Quaker (which is what my maternal Grandfather practiced, even going to prison for 3 years during WWII so as not to fight), but the second time ended up exactly right: Conservative Protestant (Lutheran).

I want to know how I got conservative after the way I answered the abortion and homosexual questions. I am more liberal than conservative I think but still Protestant Christian. I've never heard of some of the things on the list.

I haven't taken this in about a year, but I'll bet on Unitarian Universalist. I'll edit this post when I take it.

Edit: 1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Secular Humanism (97%)
3. Liberal Quakers (92%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (89%)
5. Nontheist (82%)

See I was right. Liberal quakers also sort of appeal to me, but I think I'll stick to no true religion.

I'm really curious, specifically for the Mormons (just because we have a larger sample), what dictates the order of the religions *below* number one. Like...from looking here it seems you can be 100% Mormon but have a different order and percentage for the *other* religions on your list. Just food for thought.
