Just an amusing note - the Star Wars pop philosophy book has an article by an ex-boyfriend of mine, where he credits me with inspiring the ideas he expounds. I myself don't remember the conversations he alludes to, but I'm honored just the same.

Well don't keep us in suspense, what's the philosophy you're credited with?

I'll have to go look up the book again. Something about faith (presented in the form of Luke Skywalker believing in the Force). The particular article was written by Joe Long.

My guess, "Its better to have a girlfriend than to memorize the Star Wars franchise."

Yeah, I mean you've got to admit you certainly don't expect a contributor to a SW Philosophy book to have or have ever had a girflfriend [Wink]

Funny thing, he was never into Star Wars. But perhaps he was approached by the franchise? It seems there's a whole series of these books that break down philosophy into concepts the average person can understand by connecting ideas with popular media (there's a LOTR philosophy, etc.)
