Not really promoting drinking or anything, as I rarely drink myself, but I'm curious to see if anyone here has ever had Stoli Doli, and if they have, how they liked it?

And, has anyone ever tried to make it at home? And if there's anything a first time maker should know before giving it a try. Stolichnaya is a bit expensive to buy a bottle and give it a try without having at least a little word from someone who has tried it before, even though the instructions for making it are incredibly simple.

Stolichnaya Vodka's worth it by itself, so go ahead and buy some. I've never had a "Stoli Doli", but it sounds like a pleasing drink.

You don't know me, but I have to agree with fugu as well. It's definately a matter of personal preference, but in my estimation Stolichnaya is my favorite vodka even after trying some of the other "big hitters" such as Grey Goose.

As an occasional drinker at most though it is definately hard to justify purchasing the liquor to experiment with any variety of mixed drink.

Well, stoli doli specifies stolichnaya, but I don't know if it's necessary as an ingredient over a different kind of vodka.

I probably should have mentioned this to begin with, but for anyone who doesn't know, stoli doli is pineapple infused vodka. You take a pineapple, chop it up and put it in a jug with a bottle of stoli for three days and then fish out the pineapple at the end of that period. You end up with pineapple that can knock you out, and a supposedly fantastic tasting pineapple drink. But it's not just pineapple stoli, that's different.

To note, I've never had any stoli, but what I hav had of Smirnoff, I'm not a fan. Grey goose is okay. I had something else too, expensive, but I can't remember the name.

Ah, nothing beats a cooler full of jungle juice. (Well, actually a LOT of things beat JJ, but it's a necessity for a party).

Especially a beach party! But I wouldn't go near it after the party gets big.
