I've been down lately, because of being unemployed as well as other stuff, but today I just had a really good day. Nothing big but something I really needed. I sorted out a situation where my bank had my account on hold which left me without a working card or cash. I talked with a friend whos in Iraq now and he seems well. A girl I know saw a pic of me online and said she really liked it. She said "I was like whoa, you look like a model", "yeah dude, my heart leapt." If thats not a pick-me-up, I don't know what is. I also got my tax return. Yay! Anyhow, thought I'd share. Anybody else have those days where the little things totally make your day?

Sure do... it's amazing how a few things going right or even just a really good compliment can turn around a bad mood. Would you agree with me that everyone should give a truly honest compliment each day? Congrats on your happy day!

What's even more amazing is how GIVING one of those compliments can improve your day just as much as getting one. Try it - it actually works, especially if you get some kind of smile in return.
