That's what I woke up chanting last night. I had a dream that I was ... you guessed it, a toilet seat in a cable car. Technically, I'm a toilet lid in a cable car, but that's not important. Actually, this whole thread isn't important. Anyone care to take a crack at interpretting my dream? There were no people in it. Simply a cable car with a toilet on one wall. Literally on the wall, like a painting or something. The interior of the cable car consisted of lush red carpet and wooden walls. And I was the toilet seat. Lid. Opening and closing, opening and closing. And here's the weird part: When I woke up, fresh from the dream, chanting that mantra, I felt more calm and at peace than I have in a really long time.

Aerial, though I have no basis for that other than that I know it was. There were no windows to speak of.

Ah. In that case, the dream symbolized your feelings of freedom. The opening and closing is symbolic allusion to flapping your wings in flight. The lush but empty car means that you are completely comfortable within yourself, and do not have an unhealthy dependence on anyone else for your happiness. The toilet itself is a conduit for expelling undesireable emotions, or even troublesome people, and splattering them on the unsuspecting populace below.
Then again, I'm the one who's full of crap.

I really need to track down my dream dictionary. It's got really cool Jungian dream interpretations. Alphabetically by color/object/symbol/action.

I forgot to mention that the 'lush red carpet' also identifes the cable car as a womb, a place of security and safety, with you implanted on the wall like an embryo.

That's possible, though I don't recall listening to anything involving cable cars. Or toilet seats. Last night I had another weird dream. I think. I just remember waking up and my first thought being "At least that one didn't have anyone I know in it" (referring to the dream). I used to never remember any of my dreams, but these past two weeks have been insane. At least 3 or 4 a night. I'm starting to feel like Ender in Command School. Next thing ya know I'll wake up chewing on my hand.
