The new chain reaction cookie chains, based on nuclear principles, will go supercritical with a 2 for 1 generation factor! This reaction will spread cookie goodness all over the world!

Here's how it works. For each batch of cookies you receive, you make and send out two batches to the lucky recipients. If things work as planned, we soon will be expanding our recipients list exponentially.

If you're interested in playing, send your name and address (and hatrack posting name) to HatrackCookieExchange AT gmail DOT com. If you're already on the cookie exchange list and would like to join one of the new trees (they aren't just chains now, they have branches), or to found a tree, then say that in your email.

Also, if you have any allergies or dislikes when it comes to cookies, note that as well.

We shall fill the world with cookies! Hooray! [Smile]

The origins of the cookie chains and cookie trees go back into the distant deeps of time, and there are monks who dedicate their lives to the recordkeeping and to the mysterious and all-important process of selecting the next recipient names.

Jorge Luis Borges got the idea for "the company" in his story "The Lottery in Babylon", from the huge and ancient secret organization known as "the cookie committee". [Wink]

Come, be a part of something which will reach across the solar system with our descendants, and beyond. Cookie chains and trees transcend our own times and lives, and connect us together across the ages into one big cookie family. [Smile]
