It's the first meeting of the season of the Red Sox against the evil Yankees. What do you think? After the return of Doug Mirabelli and the traitorous Johnny Damon going over to the dark side, it's going to be a very interesting season.

Did you hear that the Yankees tried to block Mirabelli's return - by signing him themselves? Hilarious!

Yes, I did hear that. I love this rivalry so much. I just want to know how Mirabelli got here so quickly. I seriously feel like he should have been air-lifted in and landed in center field. What a good story that would have been.

WE WON! The Red Sox won! Ortiz hit a three-run home run, and it was beautiful! He is amazing, that man. I don't know what I would do without him.
Now we just have to wait until tomorrow night.

I love it. Red Sox fans are the best as they gave it to Johnny. Loved him when he was in Boston, but the team is far more important than any one player.
I had to laugh at the Yankmes trying to sign Mirabelli. Shows that the Sox are totally in their heads. When a team starts to obsess about someone else besides themselves, it shows they are not acting in their best interests.

yeah... last night was not a good sports night for me... I turned on the yankees-red sox (im a yankees fan) game in the 8th innning... Just in time to see the red sox pull away... so then I changed the channel to the REd Wings -Oilers game(im a Red wings fan)... just in time to see the red wings give up 4 goals in the 3rd period to lose the game 4-3.

We were tied last year, so I don't want to hear it Icarus. Plus, we don't have kind of money that you have, so I think we do well enough without the scads of money, thank you very much.
