Recently saw the DVD for this on sale.

I have faded memories of watching it back in the early 80s...I recall it frightened me.

Anyone familiar with it? Does it still work for older audiences?

I doubt it, but I remember finding it scary when I was young.

I do remember that Disney's adaptation of "Something Wicked This Way Comes" didn't scare me...but "Watcher" and "The Black Hole" both did.

I remember being very creeped out by this movie. I would also be interested in seeing if it is still as scary for me as an adult.

I saw it in third grade.

It still scares me.

As a child it scared me. As a teenager, less so. I still get slight chills when I think of "NareK" fingered on a dusty pane of glass, or a blindfolded girl in a shard of mirror. Those images, divorced from the actual movie, will probably frighten me til the day I die.

I also found "Something Wicked" frightening as a child, but almost laughable when I watched it on Halloween five years ago. I haven't rewatched "Black Hole", but I imagine it would be similar.

I saw it as an adult, and didn't find it frightening at all.

I saw this as a kid. It was scary, but good. I still have goosebumps when I imagine the girl with the blindfold, or upon reading the title.

I have "lost" this movie at least twice before: forgotten the title (though it came instantly back when I saw the thread title!), thinking that it's a movie I saw, but not certain, and not able to get independent confirmation from other people's memories of a similar movie.

If I see it for sale, I just might buy it to keep it from getting lost again!

I saw it in third grade, and it was pretty chilling. I think it would still be scary as an adult, but I remember there were some funny sound effects.
