Yes, today is the day! And it is off to a grand start. My parents were in town taking a friend to the airport and took me to breakfast when they were done. The secretaries bought me a cake which I'm too full to look at right now. And I'll be going to Charlies for my free steak tonight.
I think I might have to go for the 2-lb porterhouse tonight.

And my excuse for being a full day early is that I will be out of town and possibly out of contact on the first. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Thanks everyone! I am 40 years old today and rejoicing, because as my friend just told me, if it was 1612, I'd probably be dead.
Joe, you might have to come up here some time and join me at the Orlando Brewery for a couple of beers.

Wow, must be nice to still be in your 30's. I'm not doing anthing but my free steak dinner at my favorite steakhouse Charlie's. We thought about a party, but my company picnic at Wet-n-Wild is tomorrow and at my age, it's hard to spend the day at a water park and the night partying.

Name the day, bud. I'm on vacation, so any day or night that's good for you to have a drink or ten is good for me.
