What it is: There will, unfortunately, be no wedding August 5. This is due to a congruence of factors that have mostly to do with the ebb and flow of my own life. Kate has demonstrated remarkable patience and compassion here, and I appreciate knowing that we can anticipate the same from all of you.
Note: I am aware that several of you have purchased plane tickets; I am especially sorry about that, and if you folks find yourself unable to exchange, refund, or otherwise dispose of them, please send me an email. Thanks.

I'm glad that you are not breaking up, and my thoughts are with you two for getting through whatever life has thrown at you.

The decision to postpone a wedding is a very hard one to make. I was supposed to get married at the beginning of May, and we made the decision to postpone it due to many factors in both of our personal lives. I wish you both peace and comfort. Things will work out. I'm getting married in five days!
