I saw an angel, and she was like, riding in the subway yaknow? And anyway she was with another man. Yeah. But hey that's not gonna get me down okay? Cause I got a plan!
Your're beautiful. You're beautiful, and did I mention you're beautiful? (Its true!) I totally saw your face the other day, in this shining place, and I had no idea what to do. It was like. Totally nuts man. LoL.

Never pegged you as a James Blunt fan, Orin, but whatever floats your boat. Anything particular you wanna share?

No. I don't like the song anymore. I liked it the first time I heard it, then I actually listened to the lyrics once. Then it was all unraveled.
I was trying to playfully mock Blunt. He is, shall we say- aptly named?

I just looked up that song on iTunes. I nearly missed it--compared to other songs of (nearly) the same name, it has a popularity rating of virtually zero.
And I can remember my local radio station playing it nonstop for three weeks.
I guess the James Blunt phenomenon sort of fell apart.

I liked it at first....until I realized he was talking about really being high. Now I could care less.

I do think Mr. Blunt was trying to express sincere feelings. His songs might come across a little mushy, but I like them nonetheless. Even if he does sing about being high, that's been done before, by countless artists. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being high...

I still think it is kind of disturbing.
This describes like 70 percent of love ballads. They are all really just rationales for stalking people

I liked it the first time I heard it. And the second. Maybe even the third. But alas, it is not one of those songs I can listen to however many times the radio plays it and continue to enjoy it. It's one of those songs I hope I don't hear for maybe 3 or 4 years so I can start enjoying it again.
