My Subscription on Audible.com is coming up again in a few days. Any suggestions? I get two books.

I am thinking i would like something new in the sci-fi genre, but I am keeping my eye out for any good biographies people might recommend. Also, I wouldn't mind a book on modern politics, but only one that is NOT a party hack piece or a disengenuous "history of." I want bio, not blo- (hardiness). A history might be nice, but one that is not too boring to listen to.

Any thoughts?

I highly recommend audibles. They throw the defense off.

A friend just recommended "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson to me today when we got on the subject of audiobooks. Obviously, I haven't listened to it yet myself, but according to him, it's one of the best sci-fi audiobooks he's ever listened to. [Smile]
