Very fun... although I don't know why I'd want to see more snow than necessary considering that I've moved out of the temperate corner of the country.

Oooh! I can send it to my mom with a message that says: "It's SNOWING!!!" She hates the snow - it's a dirty 4 letter word! (and she lives in the frozen tundra of Massachusetts where it does actually snow)

I've been signing mine rain in ohio. I like to cut snowflakes, but paper ones make such a mess...not to mention wasting trees. This is so much fun.

Wow! Some person made one that looks like dogs, and it looks like their mouths are moving, like barking, when you view it! Search #2767131 to see it.

Hey, I didn't know about this thread. I linked to the site from Uncle Orson's review (on Rhino Times, not here yet), and I was just clicking on random flakes when one of them I clicked on said "Breyer, Hatrack" which made me come in here and before I posted an embarrassing "Hey breyerchic is this you?" thread I saw this one.
Anyway, cool site--I don't think I'll try one until I'm at a computer w/ a mouse, though.

I went ahead and tried a few and I don't think I've done any worse with my touchpad than I would have with a mouse, to be honest.
I liked one of the random ones I saw and so I did a search on that person -- K8 -- and he/she has done over 3,000 snowflakes (either that or there are a number of K8s creating snowflakes). Some cute dogs among them. I suspect this is the same person who did the barking dogs ketchupqueen mentioned, although I haven't gone back and done the search to confirm.

Ohhhhh myyyyy word! (In best Shirley Temple fashion *grin*)
We had a bunch of folk making the paper ones at my house last weekend, and I don't know which is more fun -- the ones that fall completely apart at the kitchen table or the one's on-line, where you can at least take back whatever snip destroyed the flake.
And in the absence of real snowflakes, it's just a fun site to go play on.
EDIT TO ADD:
Holy Flakes, 'rack folks!
I typed in Hatrack on the search button and there are over 300 beautiful flakes by Jatraquera/o's! Way to go!
I am a member of an ebay board and we are doing this Christmas giveaway thing. Each day someone does a contest and whoever wins gets a prize. Yesterday was my day so I did a prettiest snowflake contest linking to this site. Those ladies made 1110 snowflakes!!!!! They had their husbands and children doing them too! One woman did 140 herself! It took me hours to go through them and I still didn't see them all. Hubby picked the winner, #3136561. It said "I love pumpkin bear originals" (my ebay ID); an I, a heart, a pumpkin, a bear, and then she spelled out originals. It was a lot of fun for everyone! If you want to check them out, search for CCB Secret Santa Celebration.

So, I decided just to check the site . . . it's still up and running. All the jatraquera/o's have made a combined 511 snowflakes to date. You can check it out using the "find-a-flake" function and using Hatrack as the location. Pretty cool! Especially since there is some sort of donation going on related to the number of flakes made for the Salvation Army. You folks are awesome!

(That's not counting the ones where I was nursing a baby and too lazy to put my name on, or the ones the Princess did herself and submitted before she let me put her name on.)
