Website here.

I'm interested to know if it's any good. The reviews I'm seeing from people who've watched it are actually pretty much lining up with the critics, for once, which makes me think I might want to see it (as does the trailer.)

But I trust Hatrack more than the people on Yahoo movies, in general, so tell me: is it any good? Do you think it will be? Do you want to see it? Why/why not?

This finally opened up in my area.

See it. It's a captivating film...and this is coming from someone who doesn't even care about the UK Royals.

Helen Mirren's performance as Queen Elizabeth fully deserves all the Oscar buzz it's been getting. She manages to make a woman normally seen as an icon, an institution, and tabloid fodder into someone human. Even sympathetic.

No easy feat, considering the film doesn't try to candy-coat or gloss over any flaws.

One of the very few 2006 films that I'd say deserves every last ounce of hype.
