I just read "Tabloid Reporter to the Stars."
I have a bit of a cold and I've been coughing a lot lately; the revelation at the end had me laughing for nearly five minutes, before I started coughing up blood. I loved the story, but now I need to clean my carpet.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling sick. Even knowing that there was a twist coming at the end of the story, I cracked up when I read it too.

I laughed out loud at the ending too (which was not the smartest thing to do since I was supposed to be busy at work rather than taking a little "break").
Eric lives in the same little city that I do, and I even had a short email exchange with him about Writing Groups in my area. Very exciting to have contact with a celebrity (not as exciting as OSC, but still up there for this lowly writer).

The Stone story is the only one I've read so far and it was great. I would have bought the magazine just for that one story.

I roomed with Eric for a week in Seattle at the Writers of the Future contest.
He is intelligent, and lots of fun. He's also much more productive than I am. And I'll never forgive him for that.

You may not have noticed, but Sara's Ellis's columns are no longer coming out in said SF magazine. Now they are just archived.

*laughs* I've known as soon as Porcelain Girl posted kind of huffily and I looked at her profile.

so nyah.
Yeah, I was casting about for the right word to use. Perhaps huffy was too strong of a word, but your post did make me think, wait a second, is she...? She is!
Sorry, too, if I gave the impression that I thought you were hiding your name or something. I didn't think that.
