He reviewed Ronan Tynan's cd The Dawning of the Day and said the following:

It made me laugh because Ronan Tynan *does* have a noticeable Irish accent. He was one of the "Three Irish Tenors", after all.
Also interesting to note (entirely apart from his singing career, and mentioned in the wiki link above), he had both legs amputated at age 20, competed in the paralympics and won 18 gold medals and set 14 world records, and is a physician specializing in orthopedic sports injuries. He's a pretty amazing fellow.
But, he does have a "foreign" accent of sorts, which gives his (admittedly very trained) voice a clear lilt.
